Wizard101 Update Brings New Castles and Gardening Changes

Posted Wed, Mar 02, 2011 by Martuk

Wizard101 players will find their world filled with a few colorful new options following the February update. Heading up the update is two new castles, a tropical island, which can be purchased through the item shop, and the craftable Celestial Observatory. Committed players can craft the new observatory by visiting the housing turtle in Celestia to obtain the recipe.

Included in the update are several changes to gardening that should make the profession a little easier and less confusing. One notable thing in the gardening changes is the increase in growing speed of Stinkweed, which was a little slow previously.

The update also adds some new useful benefits to subscribers that pay using a credit card within the last 30 days. By doing so, you become a part of the Wizard101 Membership Program, which comes with the added bonus of faster energy refills, an additional 120 backpack slots, Crafting & Hatching times reset twice as fast and your friends list is increased to 120. Check out the official Wizard101 website for all the latest changes.
