Boubouille of MMO Champion has been poking around in the World of Warcraft 4.1 PTR build that went up a couple of days and has come across the final model for the Winged Guardian. As mounts go, it’s actually quite impressive, this is the first lion mount in-game and while, it shares the same basis as the other mounts, the textures used are much higher and the lion head is incredibly detailed. If you can look beyond the staple flaming hooves, the Winged Guardian is actually beautifully made. I like the fact it actually has feathered wings and genuinely looks like something that would be happily at home in Azeroth. While there’s still no offical word on pricing, I’d expect the Winged Guardian to go for to at least $24 and it’s likely to go on sale around the same time as patch 4.1 goes live so start saving/justifying now!
