Black Prophecy launched in Europe just under a month ago and began a new age of space warfare between players. As with any MMOG launch, there have been a few issues and this week Patrick Streppel, a member of the executive board at gamigo, released a new letter to the community to address some of the concerns about the game and what the team has planned for Black Prophecy in the coming months.

In short, Reakktor Media will continue to release small bug fix patches with monthly content updates that will add new content on a small scale. Every three months, the team plans to release a major add-on update, which will include larger content options like raised level caps, new missions and storylines, new hubs and additional open-world areas.

The letter also offered a few details about the first three-month update, which includes a new mission hub for levels 41-50, the sector linking feature, new ship modules, an in-game mail system and other content. Additionally, Streppel outlined some of the long-term goals for the game that are a little further down the road such as a stronger focus on faction PvP, clan station fights, new gameplay modes and more. Check out the full letter for more details on the future of Black Prophecy.
