RIFT has not been shy about making the challenge to World of Warcraft (WoW) since its launch. In one of its earlier trailers, Trion Worlds stirred up fans of both games by tagging the end with, "We're not in Azeroth anymore." In RIFT's latest video, Trion takes another poke at the 400lb gorilla, putting out a call to arms and inviting players to join their (RIFT's) horde.

RIFT may be stealing a little of WoW's thunder with their quick content updates and well-polished launch. During a Q1 financial conference earlier this week, Activision/Blizzard announced that its WoW subscription numbers had dropped from 12 million to 11.4 million. 11.4 million subs are still nothing to scoff at, but the only major launch in that window has been RIFT. Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime stated in the call that he believes players that left WoW for RIFT would eventually return.

In the meantime, check out the video below and tell us which horde you think is better.
