Sega has revealed more details about its upcoming online RPG, Phantasy Star Online 2. According to a report from Andriasang, Phantasy Star Online 2 will be free-to-play and use microtransactions. The title will also be available for cross-platform play on PC, Vita and a smartphone and iOS version has also been announced.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is slated for release on PC and Vita this summer with a smartphone version to follow in the winter. A closed beta test is expected to begin in April.
