A tidal force of destruction is about to wash over Telara with RIFT's 1.3: Waves of Madness update. Trion Worlds is aiming high once again with its 1.3: Waves of Madness update for RIFT. Said to be the most extensive update since the game’s launch, 1.3 will introduce a new conflict to the game as the forces of Regulos’ Plane of Death and Akylios’ Plane of Water fight to open the doors of the forsaken dwarven city of Hammerknell located deep within Moonshade Highlands.

1.3 will add a new 20-man raid instance and release the abominations sealed beneath the city of Hammerknell. RIFT’s 1.3: Waves of Madness update is scheduled to launch June 22nd, 2011. While you wait for that seemingly far away launch date, check out the official 1.3 trailer after the break.
