In what I am sure is in no way related to the recent launch of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, Trion Worlds has announced that it aims to help save the pandas. No not those pandas, these pandas. From now through October 3rd, Trion Worlds will donate $1 to Pandas International for every copy of RIFT: Storm Legion sold through the RIFT website.

Trion to give $1 USD to Pandas International for every copy of Storm Legion ordered until October 3rd
Trion Worlds announced today that it is teaming up with non-profit organization Pandas International to further the goal of preserving the endangered Giant Panda. Beginning today, Trion will donate $1 USD to Pandas International for every copy of the new RIFT® expansion sold until Wednesday, October 3rd. As supporters of worldwide panda preservation, the team at Trion understands that these gentle giants are best admired from afar, and that any human encroachment on their natural (or digital) habitat has a deleterious effect on their silent majesty.
