Rift launched its mobile application for iOS devices earlier this month, but Android customers had to wait just a little longer to get their hands on the social application for the MMORPG. Luckily, today that wait is over.

Rift Mobile is now available for Android devices as a free download. Like its iOS counterpart, the Rift Android version includes the option to chat with friends and guile members, keep track of in-game zone events and play the Loot Cards game to earn in-game loot.

Available now as a free download, the app includes features that bring the Rift experience to players whenever and wherever they are at any time, any place. Now, with their Android device, players can real-time chat with their friends and guild, receive Zone Event notifications, and win some great loot. With Rift Mobile, anyone with a game account and character can use this app regardless of current subscription status.
