“Last year’s RuneFest was such an incredible experience that we simply had to make RuneFest an annual event. The loyal RuneScape community who attended really helped to make the event a huge success,” commented Mark Gerhard, CEO of Jagex. “For RuneFest 2011 we are planning to do everything on a grander scale, make everything bigger and even more action-packed. Last year’s event really demonstrated what a passionate community we have. With that in mind we have hunted down a larger venue for this year so that even more players will be able to attend! Tickets will sell out fast so my advice to those wanting to attend – get your tickets as soon as they go on sale and join us for a party you will never forget.”

With an ever expanding schedule of events and competitions fans are encouraged to visit the RuneFest 2011 website, www.RuneFest.com and  sign up to receive regular email updates to make sure they don’t miss out on the chance to be part of the celebrations.
