The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open-world, action RPG and the fifth installment of the epic The Elder Scrolls series. The Elder Scrolls V is set 200 years after the events of the previous game, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and expands the adventure from the previous series into the region of Skyrim, tasking the player with acquiring new Dragon Shouts and powers to defeat the Dragon God known as Alduin and other dangerous dragons and creatures threatening the lands of Tamriel.

Zenimax Online Studios is currently working on an MMORPG spin-off of the series titled The Elder Scrolls Online. The Elder Scrolls Online is targeting 2013 for release.
