Star Trek Online F2P Early Access Starts Tomorrow

Star Trek Online Executive producer Stephen D’Angelo has posted the 26th Path to F2P dev blog with an opportunity for former players to return to the game for early access to the upcoming free-to-play launch. Starting Thursday, January 5th, former Star Trek Online players that have let their account subscriptions lapse can log back in and start playing as Silver (free) members and pick up where they left off.

Starting tomorrow (Thursday, January 5th), anyone with a lapsed subscription to Star Trek Online will be able to log into the game and play as a Silver member. This means that any account that has in the past subscribed to the game, even if only for the initial month, can come back and play for free.
