If you look at the official FAQ, we can keep our subs and have 100% everything unlocked. The free guys can only level 2 characters and are extremely limited.
We can spend the cartel credits on gear looks and consumables, but we will have to wait and see whats for sale and how much it is.
I wouldnt like paying a sub and having to spend extra on potions to compete, but I doubt they will do something like this.
