One thing that the Star Wars franchise has always done well is create an epic intro for its characters. This is a time honored tradition in each of their movies and especially true in their video games. BioWare is not one to shun tradition and this week Senior Video Editor Brian Arndt takes us behind the scenes to find out what BioWare has done to create an epic intro for each class in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

The update offers a look at a few of the in-game cinematics elements that include a variation the text crawl from the opening of The Empire Strikes Back and some fancy flying in the intro for the Smuggler class, including the design of some fancy flying through a separatist blockade. Following that, the team also took some time to field a few questions from the community relating to voice acting, monologues, in-game sounds and many more.
