Star Wars: The Old Republic's (SWTOR) galactic conflict between the Sith Empire and the Republic put out the call for reinforcements last week with a new free-to-play option to entice new and old players to take up arms and join the battle. While you get more enhancements to your experience if you subscribe, you can get a pretty good taste of what the game has to offer with a few restrictions for free, and you can even still get a shiny glowstick and enjoy all of the class story through level 50.
