Saga of Ryzom Features

  • The Saga of Ryzom folks keep talking...
MMORPG.com has posted their Saga of Ryzom R2 - Developer Diary #4. This time they wrote it themselves and it features a hypothetical player building a hypothetical scenario. Hypothetically of course. Ellen Degeneres, or Ellen Degenerate as we like to call her flamboyantly stated:

" This article describes one possible player-made 'adventure' scenario for the Ryzom Ring. If you are new to this series of articles, The Ryzom Ring, also known as R², is the groundbreaking new extension for Nevrax’s science fantasy massively multiplayer role-playing game, The Saga of Ryzom. "

  • The interrogation continues.
MMORPG.com has posted a copy of content already available on the official Saga of Ryzom site. Let's call it their Ryzom Ring (R2) - Developer Diary #3. Jerry Seinfeld screamed plagiarism, then screamed it again because it's a funny sounding word. When he calmed down he said this:

"In this article, we are going to leave the description of R² tools to one side (for a while) and more generally focus on the “service” provided with the Ryzom Ring extension. Here, the word “service” encompasses all the peripheral features provided alongside the tools for creating and running scenarios. In this article, we will focus on the concepts of collaboration and sharing between pioneers. "

  • A brief glimpse into a saga.
RPGVault has posted a Saga of Ryzom preview featuring the Tryker race. Kevin Pereira of Attack of the Show is rumoured to have once worked as a tricycle riding clown at the circus where he was paid to yell:

" A youthful Tryker refugee tells us about the playful, wide-eyed race and its status in Nevrax' persistent state world."

  • Readers, R2. R2, Readers. There the introduction is complete.
The folks at Nevrax have posted an introduction to their upcoming Saga of Ryzom expasion, The Ryzom Ring. Britney Spears' publicists were quick to deny that she had any involvement
in writing, or even reading, the following:

"This is the first of a series of articles about the next expansion pack for Ryzom: The Ryzom Ring (also known as R²). It runs through the information that has already been released and paves the way for the articles to come."

  • Walking the walk and talking the talk.
Nevrax has posted an internal Q&A with the developers of Saga of Ryzom. After asking themselves questions, they wrote this, probably:

"It has been a month since my last Q&A! Now that the E3 and reorganization heat is cooling down, it's time to look over some of the questions you asked on the boards in the meantime. There are more questions than usual, and you'll even find some outposts questions answered."

  • If you build it they might not come. Let them build it.
RPGVault has posted a preview of The Ryzom Ring, a user toolkit for The Saga of Ryzom. We're pretty sure that they wrote this:

"Announced last month, Ryzom Ring is a very unusual and interesting extension of Nevrax' imaginative massively multiplayer endeavor, The Saga of Ryzom. It has been described as a set of tools that will give players the ability to act as designers by creating their own lands and adventures, which they can then share with others "

  • R2 without the D2.
The Saga of Ryzom team has posted a developers' letter discussing the Ryzom Ring. It's likely that they wrote this:

"Hello! My name is David COHEN CORVAL (“Kaeru”) and I am the Creative Director on the Saga of Ryzom. We have decided with Jessica Mulligan (our Executive Producer on SoR) to publish weekly letters to openly discuss SoR with you on a variety of topics."
