  • Better Run Through the Dungeon

Few games have as much spunk and personality as NCsoft's free-to-play, casual-friendly MMOG, Dungeon Runners. So when Ten Ton Hammer's managing editor, Cody "Micajah" Bye, had the opportunity to stop in and see a preview for the next content update in the game, he didn't pass it up. Big changes are coming down the pipe for Dungeon Runners, and Cody believes that most of them are going to increase the experience many players have with that free world.

  • An Interview With Stephen Nichols has posted an interview with Producer and Lead Programmer forDungeon Runners. Will there be future expansions, maybe larger dungeons to explore or new towns? Will they cost or be free?

Stephen Nichols: Dungeon Runners will be continually developed. There’s no plan for charging players to access new content. However, some areas may be very difficult for free players to make progress in without the members-only gear. We will definitely add more dungeons to explore. More towns? Perhaps… just not for a while.

  • Dungeon Runner Preview

AtomicGamer has posted their preview of this upcoming MMO over the weekend. Keep reading to see what they have to say...

It's funny to me that after all these years, no one has come up with a true Diablo killer. I mean, Diablo 2 was released well over six years ago, and while there have been a few attempts to recapture the magic and simplicity of Blizzard's blockbuster game, only one - Titan Quest, released this past summer - has gotten even remotely close. And TQ's fatal flaw was that its online play was insecure, with no system for running and policing games. Now, NCSoft is coming in with a new idea and a new take on the Diablo style of gameplay with their upcoming online RPG, Dungeon Runners.
