    Voodoo Extreme noticed that Funcom said they will be toning down Age of Conan for German audiences in their recent interview with Eurogamer.

    Eurogamer: When you look at games like WoW and their audience, there are a lot of children playing them. Have you got any way of preventing children from playing this game, which clearly isn't suited to them - or do you just leave it up to the parents, since it's really their job?

  • Can Conan hack it at the middle levels? Conan can hack anything. He has a huge sword. Duh.

    Videogamer.com continues its Age of Conan preview with this new look at some of the game's mid-level content.

    Earlier in the week VideoGamer.com took you through the first eight or so levels of upcoming gruesome MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, delivering a cautiously optimistic verdict that while the game is perfectly ambitious, it's currently full of bugs and doesn't do much in its early stages to distinguish it from other fantasy MMOs.

    The Age of Conan beta test is starting to get pretty bulky, with over 10,000 players being allowed in. Will this be for the best, given Richard Garriot's latest comments about how a large beta was harmful to his game Tabula Rasa, or will it prove to be beneficial for AoC in the long run?

    WarCry is reporting that Age of Conan is planning to use the acclaimed SpeedTree software to populate the landscape of their game with lifelike trees. SpeedTree is the same software used in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and a number of other games.
