Celetania is a persistent 4X MMOG world from Vulcando Games. 4X is the acronym for eXplore, eXpand, eXploit and eXterminate, and points out that the game is a combination of commercial development, peaceful expansion and tactical power struggle.
Players start as the emperor of a single planet in Celetania. It is their task to evolve commercially as well as technologically until they are able to build spaceships, which give them the chance to explore the galaxy of Celetania fully. Players will gain resources for their planet even while offline as the world persists. While offline, the players planet will advance, gain resources and even fight combat that are managed by the players chosen settings.
Each and every action influences the whole universe which contains all the players, so players can’t escape the responsibility of their actions!
Celetania officially shut down services on January 31st, 2010.
