4Story spins the tale of three kingdoms that are facing each other in all out war, each promoting its legacy throughout history. The player is a hero thrust into this world of chaos, a person born to figure out the truth that was buried in hundreds of thousands of years. The quests of 4Story spans both space and time, moving from past to future, even into memories of others.

4Story makes use of complex stoylines in chapters culminating in an instance to end the chapter and provide the player with a puzzle and clues to continue the mystery. The game offers quests and sub-quests that continue to weave the stories of individuals and the tale of the three kingdoms. Outbreaking quests will also occur unpredictably to add a layer of intrigue.

The Reatime Strategic Command Systems (R.S.C.S) allows players to perceive battle on the field so they can move, defend or attack during battles.
