  • Have you been reading the novels up to this point? Me? Mmm Not so much. However, if you'd rather read about it than play it, the next novel is now available.

The new Warcraft novel Cycle of Hatred is now available! Cycle of Hatred's story takes place three years after the events of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. The Burning Legion has been defeated, and the eastern regions of Kalimdor are now shared by two nations: the orcs of Durotar, led by their noble Warchief, Thrall; and the humans of Theramore, led by one of the most powerful mages alive - Lady Jaina Proudmoore. But the tentative peace between orcs and humans is starting to crumble. Random attacks against Durotar's holdings suggest that the humans have renewed their aggression towards the orcs. Now Jaina and Thrall must avert disaster before old hatreds are rekindled - and Kalimdor is plunged into another devastating war...

  • Looking for some basic Auto Assault information?

Not deep enough into the game to get into more advanced things like the special arts of robot summoning? Don’t worry! We’ve updated our game basics section with more basic information on Auto Assault. As always, check back often for more site updates as the information in the beta is always changing.

The old-world highway system is still mostly intact and provides routes through the wastelands. Highways connect towns together and serve as access points to the instanced areas of the game. The highways also have various rest areas and repair shops which reduce travel-time if you need repairs while in the wasteland.

Drive on over to Auto Assault @ TenTonHammer to learn the basics of the game.

  • Can't Get a Group?

Just launched your MMOG and you can't do a thing with it? Poor Orogurath had the same problem. On the first day of Head Start play in Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach (DDO), he created a character and headed into the game with high hopes for finding a group and enjoying some adventure. Instead, he was met by a troop of lecherous dwarves, and the sinking feeling that players' priorities had changed since beta.

I gathered my quests and flicked on the LFG flag, confident in an expedient invite…one that never came. I made a quick whiff of the old armpit and looked in the mirror--was it me? Something had drastically changed since the beta, and my mind raced to uncover a reason that was not due to circumstance or poor character hygiene. I logged out, created a more appealing elven female, and tried again. When the results were the same, I began to do a player search. Only six groups were looking for more (LFM). During the beta, you could confidently view 15 or more intrepid alliances looking for like minded tomb robbers or at least some ‘morally unburdened’ laborers. Something was amiss, and I was determined to root out its cause and smite it…verily!

  • Armor Polish Not Included

Paladins are THE quintessential knights in shining armor in Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach (DDO). With both true blades and true hearts, they protect the citizens of Stormreach from the evils gathering below and within the city's walls.

Ralsu takes a closer look at the paladin and provides details on the things you need to know to decide if this is the class for you:

Pure and devout, paladins are Eberron’s most dedicated defense against the forces of evil. They live like normal people until they answer the calling to promote righteousness throughout the world. Then they hone their combat skills and learn the divine magic of clerics, a combination that lends paladins a fighter’s hit points and the cleric’s ability to heal. What is unique to the paladin is his enormous zeal for eradicating evil.

Read this guide religiously and get to know the paladins of DDO!
