If you're a fan of real-world combat simulators, Flyboys Squadron may be right up your alley. A World War I flight-combat simulator, Flyboys Squadron is a direct tie-in with the MGM movie, Flyboys. As a character in the game, you man one of multiple different bi-planes and fly different missions and multiplayer scenarios in the game. Along with the multiplayer options, a single-player campaign is also available for players that don't necessarily want to face off against human opponents right away.

    World War I PC Combat Flight Simulator from the Flyboys Movie Lands for Christmas With Three Games in One!

    In a press release issued yesterday, iEntertainment Network annouced their plans for the retial release of the upcoming MMO Flyboys.

    Retail purchasers also get as a bonus; the two famous massively multiplayer games, WarBirds 2006 (World War II flying) and Armored Assault, (World War II tank game) which allow players to play offline and online with World War II airplanes and tanks. Retail purchasers of FLYBOYS Squadron will automatically gain free access to one month of unlimited play at the MMOG site, www.TotalSims.com, featuring FLYBOYS Squadron, WarBirds 2006, a World War II Flight Simulator, and a World War II Tank simulator, Armored Assault.

    Fans of the MMOG framework and the World War I aerial combat subgenre may well have reason to rejoice. iEntertainment, creators of the critically acclaimed WWII MMOG flight sim "Warbirds", have devoted their talents to an MMO flight sim based on the recently released motion picture "Flyboys." We have our first look at "Flyboys Squadron" with these screenshots and concept art, and the game is set to release on Nov. 1. For anyone that cut their flight sim teeth playing Sierra / Dynamix's "Red Baron" series back in the nineties and loved every minute (only to shelve the floppies when our Tandy 486sx blew up), "Flyboys Squadron" looks like it might be the one we've been waiting for!

    Entertainment Network, (BB:IENT.pk), developer of the award-winning WarBirds TotalSims series, announced that a FREE Demo of their FLYBOYS Squadron Massively Multiplayer Game is now available for FREE download at http://www.FLYBOYSGame.com. The FLYBOYS Squadron single player offline game and MMOG is based on the upcoming MGM release of FLYBOYS, an Electric Entertainment film, to be released nationally in theaters on September 22nd 2006.
