Pirates Constructible Strategy Game Online is a unique online game. It has all of the elements of a tabletop card strategy game, but all of the action and gameplay exists in a 3D online world. Rather than a subscription fee, Pirates CSG requires players to buy booster packs of online cards. Much like the items bought in an item shop on other games, these booster packs provide players with what they will need to wage a successful campaign against their opponents. All that is left is for the player to put together a killer deck and use that deck to outsmart their enemy.

Just like any good card game, Pirates CSG allows players to acquire rare and collectible items, such as ships and crew. There are also tournaments and events to participate in. Pirates CSG currently has five released expansions.
