The Dreamlords saga has had a rather troubled past. After developer Lockpick Entertainment mostly dissolved in 2009, development for the game stalled until the remnants of the developer inked a new deal with Paradox Interactive to further develop the title under the appropriate re-branded name of Dreamlords: Resurrection. The MMORTS officially launched this week with an offer of 1,000 Paradox Ducats to players that sign up to play. The Paradox Ducats can be used to purchase in-game items to enhance your Dreamlord.
In Dreamlords: Resurrection, players take on the role of a Dreamlord to inspire a small group to become hardened warriors and fend off nightmarish creatures in fast-paced MMORTS action. The game features long-term character progression system achievements, clan operations and much more. Check out the official launch trailer and press release after the break for more details.
