One thing RIFT has spawned outside of massive NPC invasions is a dedicated massive player invasion. The Gaiscioch Family, a guardian guild on Faeblight server, threw down the gauntlet a few weeks ago with their planned 22 week invasion to purge the defiant from Telara and slay their main heroes in Meridian. This week marks the beginning of Chapter 3 in the Telara Saga invasion and the Gaiscioch Family is welcoming both defiant and guardian factions to join the event that will wage war in Scarlet Gorge.

Guardian forces will form up for the invasion at 5:45pm PST and ride to war at 6:00pm PST. Will the defiant answer? Check out the release below to learn more about the Telara Saga.

While we've been enjoying RIFT's dynamic content in NA and EU for almost a month now, our fellow players over in Russia have been left looking off at the rifts in the distance. Luckily, our comrades will be joining us soon. In a recent press release, Belver announced that it has inked a new deal with Trion Worlds to bring RIFT to Russia. A solid date has not been set as of yet, but the release hints at a late 2011 launch window. Check out the full press release after the break for more.

If you're like many of us here at Ten Ton Hammer, you've probably been enjoying the dynamic invasions of RIFT since its March 1st launch. But Trion Worlds isn't resting on the laurels of its newly launched title. In a recent press release, Trion announced a major content update for RIFT with its 30-Day update, bringing new massive invasion events, a chance at some one-time loot and a brand new raid zone, River of Souls.

Headlining the update is a new world event invasion led by the bride of Regulos herself, Alsbeth the Discordant. Alsbeth will lead an invasion against every zone in Telara over the course of a week. During that time players will have the chance to fight off new dynamic invasions and possibly earn a new Spectral Horse and a transmogrifying disguise that turns you into the rotting undead. These items will only be available during this world event and once those rift invasions are sealed, the chance to get those items goes with it.

Trion has extended the Founder's Pricing for RIFT through March 31st, so if you've thought about subscribing, you can do so before then for less.
