Centuries ago, five factions arose teaching with what each felt was the true path to enlightenment. Two walked the path of good, while three walked the path of evil. These five factions, through many years of research and studying, have cultivated the ability to channel their chi and control magic.

History is always fated to repeat itself. Not much has changed; the five factions remain, each promising knowledge, training and the ultimate goal of immortality to every recruit.

Players begin as a Paladin, once they prove themselves worthy, players can select from 5 different factions, each with their own set of unique skills and game mechanics. By forming alliances through the alliance system, players can engage in Fort Battles and Battlegrounds to defeat their enemies.

Jade Dynasty also has several features that add some classic and new mechanics to gameplay such as crafting, weapons and armor upgrading, flying weapons, a Marriage system and many others.
