  • We have ways of making them talk.
GameCloud has an interview with the folks at MMOCenter posted. The dead sea scrolls revealed this, possibly:

"Atlanta based Rapid Reality Games recently announced a major plan to release not just one but a whole series of massively multiplayer games under the umbrella MMOCenter.com service. The company is already taking pre-orders for their first two games The Chronicle and Machines. To find out more about their plans, Gamecloud got in contact with Rapid Reality's Adam Ghetti to find out more about MMOCenter."

  • More pirates....Holy Hannah in a handbasket.
Gamers Info has posted a Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates interview featuring Daniel James. It's within the realm of possibility that they wrote this:

"Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates is one of the most unique MMO's out there. It takes many of the common concepts seen in some of the bigger budget titles and spins them down to their simplest form. Combined with puzzles that at first appear easy, but will end up taking hours out of your day before you even realize it, it is a lot of swashbuckling fun! We recently sat down with Daniel James, lead designer and CEO of Three Rings, and Jon Demos, one of the talented artists working on the game."

"Today we present the first in a series of monthly developers from the people behind "Sigonyth: Desert Eternity". This week they introduce the title and discuss what differentiates their game from others on the market."

  • Why did pirates use a plank? Why not just push the guy off the side?
Game Daily has posted an interview with Akella, the developers of Age of Pirates. We're pretty sure that they wrote this:

"...until E3 2005, when Akella, developer of the Sea Dogs game(s), announced Age of Pirates, essentially the next swashbuckling RPG in the Sea Dogs line. We had a chance to sit down with Renat Nezametdinov, project manager for Age of Pirates, to hear more about what gamers can expect from Age of Pirates, as well as what the team learned from its previous two outings about the pirate lifestyle and the power of its Storm graphics engine."

  • It tastes good, but the texture turns me off.
Tim Rhoades of Shadowpool Studios tells us about texturing process in Trials of Ascension. They may have written this:

"In this months dev journal I would like to take a few minutes to talk
about, (you guessed it), textures! I will also see if I can catch Brax
napping and sneak into the vault to grab a little more to look at
besides the all ready posted screen shots."

  • Fore!MMORPG.com has posted an interview with Sean Hong of OnNet, the developers of Shot Online. It's possible that they wrote this: "Shot Online is at first glance a golfing sim. When you take a closer
look into the full aspects of what the game has to offer you will
understand that it is more then that, it is a MMORPG. At the moment we
are still introducing some of the main features of the game that will
eventually be some of the main foundations that we can work with on a
RPG level." Read the entire Shot Online Interview at MMORPG.com.

  • Capes and Scars.TenTonHammer.com posted our very own impressions of City of Villains. We are fairly confident that we wrote the following: "City of Heroes took gamers by surprise. A new game idea had been implemented and was actually fun to play. Could it be true? Indeed it was, but there was something missing. Players wanted to unleash their dark side and roaming around cleaning the streets of Paragon City wasn't filling the void." Read the entire City of Villains Preview at TenTonHammer.com

  • Romans vs Mayans. Can't we all just get along?MMORPG has posted an Imperator Combat Preview. We are pretty sure that they wrote this: "The first thing players notice in Imperator is that there is no auto-combat. If you wish to attack an enemy, you need to select an attack. As you fight, you lose energy and gain focus based on what feats you choose. The various combat moves work off one, or both of these things. This combination ensures players need to pay attention and strategize their combat. For example, do they wish to work the whole fight and build up to one giant pay off move that zaps all their focus or would they prefer to play it safe, and use more, but smaller moves that use only a portion of their hard-earned focus?"
