  • IMGDC Pre-Conference Interview with Kelly Rued

GamersInfo.com has an interesting interview posted today. This one is a chat with Kelly Rued who will be speaking at this weekend's conference on the topic of sex in MMOs.

Ms. Rued will be speaking on sex in MMO's. Whether it be emmergent “adult play” as players bring to games like World of Warcraft and Second Life, or games designed with the idea of sex play in mind, such as Virtually Jenna, it is impossible to deny that a part of hosting an MMO is going to mean having to deal with virtual sex (cybering) in your game at some point or another. We talked with Ms. Rued about what sorts of issues developers need to be aware of and what players are looking for in the adult content of MMO's.

  • Outside The Box: End Game Content

In the weekly column at MMORPG.com Outside the Box we are given a look at Garrett Fuller's thoughts on end game content.

Here is the thing with end game content, the MMO industry is thinking in limited design terms. Okay, let's discuss our end game. Who has ideas? Can you find me a good example of a game where neither of these systems is used for players in the end game? If so please tell us, I for one want to see new ideas in this area.
