    Cody's Handling the Fallout

While the Ten Ton Hammer team attends numerous conventions every year, sometimes particular games catch our attention as being particularly exciting upcoming projects or have elements that ring true in MMOGs. Both are valid in the case of Fallout 3, an upcoming single player RPG from Bethesda Softworks. Cody "Micajah" Bye had the opportunity to view the game in a 45-minute demo at Leipzig GC '07, and he's relayed his thoughts for you, the readers, to enjoy!

Ten Ton Hammer’s managing editor, Cody “Micajah” Bye, filling in for John “Boomjack” Hoskin on this lovely morning, and I expect you’re all absolutely awash in uncontrollable enthusiasm for whatever I’m going to write about. Even if you’re not, I encourage you to continue reading, for the tale I’m about to tell is awash with mystery, intrigue, and some plain-Jane weirdness. By the end, you’ll be saying: “Oh my gawd! Since Boomjack is on his way back from that blazing, sun-crisped place known as Arizona, he’s tapped me – TTH's tried-and-true Managing Editor, Cody “Micajah” Bye – as his replacement to whet your whistles with the latest and greatest gaming news. I’ll do my best, but my whit and humor rarely live up to what Boomjack employs on a daily basis. I’ll even leave my email address tucked in here for any hate mail this edition of Loading… might spawn.

    I can’t wait.
