Metin2 is an imported, free-to-play MMOG developed by SilverBirch Studios. The game is set in a 3D fantasy-based environment that allows players to interact with each other in a social chat type environment.

Players when they enter Metin2 are allowed to choose between four character classes that are separated by gender distinctions. Males can choose to be either Warriors or Suras (magic users). Females can pick between being an Assassin or a Mage. Rather than having characters picked on aesthetics, players must choose these "pre-packaged" characters similarly to what is found in Diablo 2.

The gameplay in Metin2 is very similar to other MMOGs. You hunt monsters to gain levels, but there are also certain other abilities that can be employed as you advance throughout the game - like a polymorphing set of abilities.
