Aika + Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning + Allods Online + Aion

  • Dwarf Racial Overview Page

Today we have yet another update, this time a revamp of our old racial pages. The first to undergo this change is the sturdy Dwarfs who now have the first new Racial Overview page on our site. This page includes general information on the Dwarfs as well as class lists and links to other Dwarfy places of interest.

Small but sturdy. The dwarfs of the Old World are one of the oldest races out there, and even though their power is waning in their later years, the dwarfs are still a great force.

  • Career Overviews: Empire Bright Wizard & Chaos Magus

It seems in the recent updates we missed linking to the imagery and basic thoughts on the other Empire & Chaos careers that we have seen; the Chaos Magus & Empire Bright Wizard. So without further delays you should check them out!

If I know one thing about Warhammer Bright wizards it’s that we can expect burning. Lots of burning. The Bright Wizards are known far and wide for their ability to set fires and burn things in multiple different ways, and it seems that in Warhammer Online they will be no different.

  • Zone Overview: Thunder Mountain

Today we have the new neutral zone of Thunder Mountain described. This new zone is a dangerous place centered on one of the largest volcanoes in the Old World. With a very large back story and lots of information on its current inhabitants, Thunder Mountain seems like it will be a highly fought over zone.

Thunder Mountain is sort of like a cross between Thunder Dome and Mount Doom. It’s a dark and scary place with a huge volcano, where two sides enter and only one comes out. As the single ‘neutral’ zone in the Dwarf/Greenskin conflict it can be expected that players will be fighting a lot over this piece of land. While fighting cultists or Empire Outlaws be sure to watch the lava flows and try not to breath in too much of the sulfurous gasses.

  • The Warhammer Online Team Responds

Slashdot has the answers to the questions they asked the community to submit recently. These questions were for the team creating Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

Last month we asked you for questions for the makers of Warhammer Online. The tone of the response made it obvious that many readers were concerned about where the company was taking the Warhammer world. Their responses should, at least somewhat, put those of you frustrated by what you've seen so far at ease. The makers of the upcoming MMOG from Mythic have responded with detail and good humour to the insightful queries you put to them. They were also considerate enough to label their responses, so you know exactly who has answered each question. So, please, read on for the responses from Mythic's Warhammer Online team.

  • The WoW Effect

Another Common Content article across the TenTonHammer network delivered to you fresh inside an airtight pizza box (because I know gamers love pizza). This week Ratboy writes about the input of World of Warcraft towards Warhammer Online. That's right everybody, today you get to hear about WoW and how it is impacting YOUR game.

For everyone here who reads my articles you should know one thing; I make a lot of references to World of Warcraft. I’ll be honest when I say there is actually a valid reason why I make reference to WoW so much in my writings, and it’s because I like to make comparisons. Since Warhammer Online has yet to be released there is not a lot of concrete information I can go off of, and I make the general assumption that most of my readers have played or know a bit about the voracious online flesh eating disease known as Warcraft. Does WoW have an impact on the development of Warhammer Online? Anything but ‘yes’ would be a lie.
