Vindictus is a fast-paced action game from developer DevCAT and publisher Nexon. Developed using the Valve Source engine, Vindictus offers a freedom of combat motion, smooth flowing combat, and destructible environments for groups of up to four players. Vindictus is a much darker turn from some of Nexon's other titles such as Mabinogi and MapleStory. With a more mature theme, players will experience mature content such as blood spurting from enemies when stricken and the corpses of the fallen can even be used as weapons.

Dungeons will change each time players enter them, allowing for a variety of different experiences in each dungeon. Party play in Vindictus requires coordinated team efforts to bring down enemies.

Vindictus, like Nexon's other titles, is free-to-play and uses microtransactions.

    Vindictus - Episode Six Update Previewed at PAX East 2011
    Vindictus made its splash in the free-to-play market last year and has been picking up steam ever since. The action-combat MMO from Nexon has been designed from the ground up to appeal to Western audiences and so far, they've been successful.

    This year at PAX East we stopped by the Nexon booth to try our hand at the upcoming content update for Vindictus, due to launch later this month, known as Episode Six. The new content contains new quests, a new town, new enemies, PvP and a great new feature called Transformation. The level cap is also increasing from level 60 to level 70.
