  • Hands On Impressions of Burning Crusade

Pro-G has posted their hands on impressions of the Burning Crusades. Keep reading to see what they think of the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft.

The Burning Crusade presents an interesting conundrum for World of Warcraft players: drop your existing high level character for the allure of starting one of two new races, or keep on with your uber-equipped killing machine and brave the shattered realm of Outland.

So far, most beta players have opted for the high level rewards of Outland over starting a new character. But this isn't to the detriment of TBC's two new races, the manga-esque Blood Elves and the big blue aliens the Draenei - both have aspects that have drawn concern from the typically vocal WoW fan base, but overall are shaping up nicely.

  • Steve Marvin Chats About Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Gamespot has posted an interview with senior game designer Steve Marvin. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is the topic of conversation. Keep reading to see what they were able to learn.

Massively multiplayer role-playing games let you explore and adventure in huge virtual worlds populated by thousands of players. And the massively multiplayer RPG genre is going to get an influx of orcs, dwarfs, and other fantasy creatures next year when EA and EA Mythic release Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, a game that's set in the popular Warhammer Fantasy universe. Warhammer is better known for its tabletop miniatures game, but in Warhammer Online you will be able to create a fantasy character based on some of the universe's most popular races and then select a career path that lets you really explore the different facets of Warhammer. • FiringSquad Previews The Burning Crusade

FiringSquad.com has posted a preview of the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, The Burning Crusade.

The Blood Elves are the new Horde race, Blizzard’s answer to the calls for attractive models and Paladins for the Horde. Continuing the story from WarCraft III, the Blood Elves have split from the Alliance by making common cause with Illidan. Their lands and Silvermoon, their city, lay in ruins. The passage of the Scourge has quite literally left a mark on what were once the beautiful lands of the elves.

  • Burning Crusades Hands-On Preview

ProG has joined the host of sites getting a chance to preview the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft. Nightfall has been a hot topic of late. Keep reading to see what their impressions are.

It's probably the most anticipated expansion in videogame history.

The problem for WoW fanboys like me who have been dipping their virtual toes (or, if you're a Tauren, hoofs) into the beta for the last couple of weeks is that there's absolutely masses of new stuff to wade through, and it's almost impossible to be objective about it.

Read the rest of the preview and then share your thoughts with us in the Ten Ton Hammer Forums. You can find out more about WoW and the Burning Crusades at our WoW Ten Ton Hammer Community site.

  • Mythic's Paul Barnett offers a glimpse into the embattled world of the Empire.

GameSpy had a chance to talk to Paul Barnett and get a preview of the Empire, one of the factions in the upcoming Warhammer Online.

It would be difficult to find someone who will speak on the topic of Warhammer with more impassioned fervor than Mythic's Paul Barnett. The man seems to channel the spirits of the orcs, dwarves, and Chaos Marauders that populate the brutal world that he's helping to bring to life. As such, we could not think of anyone better to talk with us about the latest in-game faction for Warhammer: Age of Reckoning that Mythic has decided to unveil: the Empire. As you'd expect from the Warhammer universe, this human nation, to paraphrase Mr. Barnett, is teetering on the edge of annihilation at the hands of a multitude of assailants, not the least of which is humanity's own tendency to take the violent measures necessary for survival to wild extremes.

  • Sprawl's Scrawl - First Impressions of Closed Beta

WoW Vault has posted a preview of WoW's upcoming expansion, The Burning Crusade. This preview is full of impressions from closed beta, so don't miss out!

One of the first things you notice upon logging into Burning Crusade beta is a number of quick popup boxes that indict that the system is scanning for viruses and the like. It's good to see that Blizzard is taking active steps at keeping a blacklist of known exploits. Once again the new player is presented with a view of the Dark Portal, this time from the Outland side. At this point, if you haven't upgraded your account with a key, do not expect to login.

  • What is Outlands like? What are the two new race areas like? How is the new loot?

Voodoo Extreame has a preview to answer all of these questions.

The Burning Crusade closed beta is finally out, and after much gnashing of teeth, I have stopped playing long enough to be able to write up some "hands on" impressions of the game. I do not want to bore you all with the details of every little minute detail of what has gone into The Burning Crusade expansion pack, and the truth is, a lot of things have been beat to death in other previews.
