  • Get ready to squeal like a school girl. We've decided that we're going to have an official Ten Ton Hammer guild for World of Warcraft. Heck, nearly all of us play the game so why ever not?

    Why should you join? Well, you get to play with the cool kids for one. We also will have forums and a team speak server set up for those magnificient raids that we'll be partaking in. If you're interested, send me, Awenyddion, a tell or shoot me an in game mail on the Sen'jin server. We're horde of course. I'll get you hooked up.

    In other news, have you watched the Coke commercial that BoomJack posted in yesterday's Loading...? I ask you, Why the hatin on the Orc guy? Orcs need lovin too!

    Also, keep an eye out for all of the lawsuits flying around. You could very well get a black eye. Native Americans are suing Activision over Gun. Dreamcatcher is getting sued for racketeering. *raises eyebrows really high on that one* And finally, EA and Ubi are duking it out over non-compete agreements in their hiring practices. What oh what is this world coming to?

    Tell me what you think. Oh and those of you yahoos who think that you're uber funny, quit sending me viruses. I have what amounts to a chastity belt on my pc. You'll never get them through.

  • Quest for glory with our DDO crew!

    If you'll be seeking your fame in Stormreach, the majestic setting for Dungeons & Dragons Online, you'll want to keep up with Shayalyn and Ralsu, two knowledgable MMO vets from our DDO community site. They'll share their quest journals in the weeks ahead, revealing informatoin any adventurer will need to make his way in the city.

    Ralsu and I emerged on the other side of The Low Road; weary and a little worse for the wear, but in one piece. Still a bit weak from my near-drowning, I found that I had to stop from time to time and catch my breath. Ralsu had been teasing me relentlessly about my apparent lack of swimming skills, and I had been waving my mace at him menacingly while his back was turned, which caused the occasional chuckle from passersby. Bards!

  • Oh those busy little beavers! There is a new dev preview of Burning Crusade at the official site.

    Despite the myriad terrors that lie within, adventurers are still drawn to Karazhan - tempted by rumors of unspeakable secrets that may be found
    within the tower's arcane libraries. It is said that the vast, magical halls house the powerful spellbooks of Medivh himself.

    Only one thing is certain when visiting the dreaded tower of Karazhan...

    ...you may never find your way out.

    The decrepit tower of Karazhan once housed one of the greatest powers Azeroth has ever known: the sorcerer Medivh. Within its halls and corridors, he summoned all manner of otherworldly beings, researching magics no other would dare touch. Karazhan now stands abandoned; with its master gone, the monstrous
    things and untamed powers have grown unchecked, waiting to pounce on whoever is brave or foolish enough to enter its halls. Forge a group of ten stalwart adventurers and journey to the wasted land between Duskwood and the Swamp of Sorrows known as Deadwind Pass, where the mystical tower lies. Only the strongest need apply: only those who have achieved level 70 are skilled enough to face what lies within. Prepare for:

    * Boss encounters scripted to unveil the mysteries of Karazhan and challenge your skill as a team;
    * Dozens of new items from the vaults and experiments within the tower;
    * Brand new monsters, the likes of which Azeroth has never seen;
    * And much more!

    *Squeals* I wish they'd hurry up and release the thing! I want to play!

  • Oh Devrek, what won't you get yourself into?

    As we inch closer to the release of Auto Assault, the vehicular destruction MMORPG set in post-apocalyptic times, Xerin continues his hilarious comedy series.

    This week we find out that Devrek has gotten himself into a little bit of trouble. In his overly comical fashion, things take a turn for the serious in the third edition of the Roadstop Comedy Club. You'll laugh and you'll cry as Devrek rants on and on about his wacky adventures. Well, you probably won't cry but hey! What are you waiting for?

    Check it out at the Ten Ton Hammer Auto Assault community site!

    Heya, and welcome back. You may notice that my appearance has changed! Yes, it is true. See the other day I was talking to one of those new Freelancers and somehow he got scared of me. I don’t know why. I mean I’m the friendly sort of guy yeah? Anyway he threw his car keys at me trying to run me away. Well he ran off in some kind of crazy fit and I scored a free car. Not just any car of course. This was one of those sweet newer model chassis with a flamethrower and really cold air conditioning.

  • Get in touch with your inner Rogue!

    A Rogue is a Rogue is a Rogue.... Ralsu has updated DDO - TenTonHammer's rogue class guide with new information on which abilities, skills, and feats are important to the class. Ready to make your 1st level DDO rogue in Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach? Sneak up on our guide and do it with style.

    Rogues are prized for the resourcefulness and seldom are counted on to deliver the bulk of the damage. Instead, adventuring parties will count on rogues to scout ahead, sneak past guards to avoid a confrontation, or pilfer an item needed for the completion of a quest. Players who choose rogues will be rewarded with a feeling of usefulness. Further, they will enjoy the versatility of a character who can fit into most any party composition.

  • What's all this "Chaotic Good" stuff, anyhow?

    Is Jean Luc Picard, captain of the Enterprise in Star Trek: The Next Generation, lawful good or neutral good? Shayalyn over at the Ten Ton Hammer - Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach site needs some help to settle a geeky
    argument she got into recently!

    But wait--this isn't Star Trek, it's Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach! And we've got a great guide to character alignment.
