One of the many free-to-play games hosted by k2 Network, Knight Online is a 3D fantasy-based MMORPG that was originally developed by Mgame before being imported to the Western market. Since its introduction in 2004, KO has received two major expansions: Knight Empire in 2005 and Reign of the Fire Drake in 2006. The level cap for the game now sits at level 80.

Knight Online has four different classes characters can choose from Warrior, Rogue, Mage and Priest. Each class has basic skills and 3 different skill-trees that skill points can be added to; 2 skill points are obtained at each level once the second job has been selected at lvl 10. The amount of skill points in a skill tree cannot exceed the level of the character. It is recommended that you only choose two of them so that you can obtain its best skills. Each class also has a master set of skills that can be learned from various quests after level 60.

Players can form groups with up to 8 members and clans for larger endeavors. The game makes use of an experience loss death penalty mechanic. The current level cap is 80. Knight Online continues to pull in users on the global scene with over 10 million users globally.
