Formerly known as Marvel Universe, Marvel Heroes is a superhero-based online action RPG that's based off the popular line of Marvel comics. Previously, the game was set to be developed by Cryptic Studios and published by Microsoft, but after the deal fell through, the game was cancelled and later picked up by Gazillion Entertainment. Gazillion initially kept the game labeled as Marvel Universe until it was re-branded in December 2011 as Marvel Heroes.
Marvel Heroes allows players to play as heroes of the Marvel universe such the Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man and many others. Marvel Heroes is free-to-play and features action-RPG style of gameplay, randomly generated environments and an available selection of iconic Marvel heroes to choose from.
