The Transformers Universe is being developed by RuneScape developer Jagex and is a separate project from the earlier announced Transformers Online under development by NetDragon. While the plot behind the game and its features have yet to be announced, the license with Hasbro indicates that it will involve the widely popular Transformers brand, which is known for numerous cartoons, toys and movies. Whether the game will follow the story of the movie or the cartoon more closely is unknown at this time. Stay tuned and we'll update this section with more details as they become available.

Transformers Universe is expected to release sometime in 2012.
