  • Smash up derby has never been so much fun.
GameSpot has an Auto Assault interview posted featuring Scott Brown of NetDevil. They probably wrote this:

"We've covered Auto Assault extensively to this point. However, to get the details regarding the deep character development system in the game, we caught up with Scott Brown, the president of NetDevil as well as the project lead for Auto Assault. The game itself is scheduled to launch later this summer."

  • Cars and heavy explosives.
The good folks at NCSoft sent us the latest Auto Assault FAQ. We're almost sure that they wrote this:

"Q: How does this compare to other MMORPGs?

A: Auto Assault is the fastest, most destructive MMO ever! It takes everything you expect from a full-featured, deep MMORPG - long term character development, exploration, missions, crafting, and lots of players on-line playing together. Auto Assault then adds some of the most exciting and spectacular elements of action and shooter games. Auto Assault is the only MMORPG to feature a high-end physics engine that renders dynamic, fully destructible environments, rag-doll character deaths and more. Additionally, Auto Assault is fast and exciting – tire-shredding, mobile combat, quick grouping and fast movement around the world. There’s definitely no more running for an age to get to your next quest. Auto Assault also features an incredible loot system and unparalleled PvP that’s truly global in scale."

  • Dev Logs. Ren and Stimpy rejoice.
A Pirates of the Burning Sea developer's log has been posted at the official site. It's possible that they wrote this:

"It’s been a while since we’ve posted a devlog. But now that E3 is over and the dust has settled, we’re finally free to talk!
And what better place to start than character creation?"

Worthplaying has posted a preview of Auto Assault. Yep, they wrote this, maybe:

"I must admit, Auto Assault was one of the coolest new games I saw at E3 this year. NCSoft's new action MMORPG is some pretty slick stuff. I also have to admit that I was surprised by the game, which was being touted as the "fastest, most destructive MMORPG" in advertisements, which automatically set off warning bells in my head from the moment I saw the first ad. Fortunately, it really does live up to the claims by combining some of the best elements of action games with a strong MMORPG backbone."

  • Mutant Shaman.
The folks at NCSoft / NetDevil have posted some new Auto Assault information. Today we meet the Mutant Shaman, the Shemi 10 (looks like a big rig) and the nasty looking Alchemy Van. They might have written this:

"The Mutants are a very cohesive race, bound by their relationship to the Contamination and their religious zealotry. While the ability to live and bond with the Contamination comes somewhat naturally, the Mutants' intense and passionate spiritual devotion – bordering on righteous fanaticism – is fueled by the Shamans."

  • It blows up real good.
The good folks at NCSoft / NetDevil have another new class article posted. This time it is the Biomek Agent. They wrote something that looks disturbingly like this:

"Biomeks rely on force to solve most problems. However, this does not mean that they act rashly or without preparation. A special class of warriors is trained in the art of gathering timely and accurate information for the Order to exploit. With advanced combat skills and extremely fast vehicles, the Agents infiltrate, observe, and sometimes eliminate threats to the Order."
