TenTonHammer.com has released a guide to the World of Warcraft instance, Razorfen Kraul. Run, don't kraul to the guide:

"Razorfen Kraul is a mid-level instance and fairly small, it takes approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on party level and skill. With all upper level characters it can be finished in less than 40 minutes."

  • PSP Emulation for WoW Has to Wait, Literally
Portable VNP is a little app which allows you to remotely use your desktop Macintosh on your PlayStation Portable (PSP). PSP + VNP + WoW = it was inevitable someone would try! Gameplay was, however, sluggish...

"It is way too slow at about 1 - 1/2 fps. You really can't do anything."

  • We've been duped! Or have we?
GameSpy has posted a WoW Duping: Fact or Fiction article taking a look at the recent hub-bub in World of Warcraft. An item so nice we duped it twice and then yelled in OOC:

"This week, a look at problems with the latest WoW patch and what Blizzard might do about it."

  • Ha! Check out the URL that you go to for this...they spelled Rogue as "Rouge". Priceless.
Ogaming has posted a World of Warcraft Rogue guide. They sold you some gold and then they wrote this:

"Rogues are damage-dealers, and that is their group role. You are in a group solely to take down single mobs and provide some limited crowd control (as well as pick locked chests and boxes). Rogues have the fastest (and arguably the most exciting) combat pace the game has to offer. Rogues attack the fastest because they are dual wielders and always use fast-swinging weapons (1-handed swords and maces and daggers). Rogues have to be versatile, patient and very articulate."

  • It's a battle and we've got a plan. Let's call it a Battle Plan.
Shane Dabiri, the lead producer of World of Warcraft has posted a Battle Plan. We crawled through the trenches on our bellies to discover that he maybe, just maybe wrote this:

"It has been over six months since World of Warcraft launched in North America, and we have seen much growth during that time. Just prior to launching in China last week, World of Warcraft had achieved a subscriber base of more than 2 million players worldwide. Thousands of new players around the world are joining the adventures in Azeroth each day, and the early signs from China are showing that World of Warcraft is proving to be very popular with players there as well."

  • Shadowfang Keep Unplugged.
Our very own World of Warcraft team has produced a guide to Shadowfang Keep. They mentioned that they wrote this:

"Being a low level and small instance tactics are fairly easy to master in Shadowfang Keep.

At the beginning of the instance, go in to the room on the right of the entrance as there is no way to raise the gates, don’t bother trying. The monsters here are a low level and should be fairly easy to pull and kill. Continue up the stairs and down the passage to a locked door. If there’s a rogue in your party he can pick it, if not you’ll have to let out the prisoners that are down the stars to the left of the room you are in. Not sure why they are locked up if the have keys, but there you go. To release the prisoners pull the levers by their cell. Through the door is the courtyard."

  • The theme you have all been waiting for.
A World of Warcreaft XP theme has been created by Stardock. We think that they wrote this:

"Now you can enjoy the look and feel of World of Warcraft even when log out of the game, thanks to the specially designed World of Warcraft Windows XP desktop theme pack created by Stardock. Using Stardock's Object Desktop technology, the Worldof Warcraft theme pack changes your title bars, Start menu, icons, push buttons, borders, and much more to mirror the user interface from the game."
