Herotopia was re-launched in 2011 through a partnership with RuneScape developer Jagex and New York-based children's media and entertainment company Herotainment. Through the partnership, Jagex acquired worldwide publishing rights for the award winning Herotopia.

Designed specifically for the entertainment of children, Herotopia allows players to visit 19 different locations, play 25 unique mini-games, develop a fully customizable secret hideout and complete daily quest to become the ultimate superhero.

Additional content will be added to the game through updates that will include new features, content and events. Herotopia is free-to-play and offers an "All Access" paid membership for additional content.
