Formerly known as Astronaut: Moon, Mars and Beyond, Starlite is an adventure MMOG based on the future explorations of mankind on to the outer reaches of the solar system. The game is developed with Epic's Unreal 3 engine and will be available initially for iOS devices and Windows PC. Starlite takes place in the year 2035 as mankind begins to settle in the Solar System. Players will experience real science, technology, physics and engineering as one of several classes such as the Engineer, Physicists and Pilots.

Starlite is a NASA sponsored project and is scheduled to begin its beta in December 2012.

However, a recent article over at Big Download shows that the game is not only a reality, but a nice looking reality at that.
