City of Villains + EverQuest II + World of Warcraft + Age of Conan: Unchained + City of Heroes + Champions Online Features

  • Stop drooling over screenies and go check your inbox, AoC fans...

Age of Conan's latest Friday Update has some very exciting news for those of you eagerly anticipating the AoC beta: Invites might be in your inbox, baby!

As to the beta, there was a huge new patch (several gigabytes) just a few days ago that added tons of new content and improvements to the game. We’d say more, but that would break our NDA and we’d be thrown out of our own beta. ;)

To celebrate, we’ve done two things.

  • Offline friends are such a drag.

There's a humorous adaptation of an old "The Dangers of Alcoholism" comic floating around the net which swaps in text that fits World of Warcraft. It's pretty funny, but the humor is fairly adult, so consider yourself warned.

    See the comic at JoeyDevilla.com.

  • What Does it Take to Impress a Messiah?

Having had a chance to play 2.3 last night on his guild's Karazhan night, our WoW community manager, Byron "Messiah" Mudry, wanted to throw up a quick first impressions comment from a Paladin tank's perspective.

I know most of the changes have nothing to do with a Paladin and even those that do are mainly focused on the Retribution Paladin tree. However, some things did effect my tankadin directly and other not so directly that I wanted to comment on.
