EverQuest II + Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted News

  • I need access and I need it now, well about two months ago.
Our very own EverQuest 2 community team have updated the Access Quests Guide. It's only a rumour that they wrote this:

"Access Quest Compendium Access quests allow you toenter certain "keyed" areas of Norrath. Some are more or less necessary to progress in level (Enchanted Lands and Zek access, for two), others are necessary to complete heritage quests, while still others are more or less avoidable unless your friends are begging you to join them."

  • Guide me Ethec, you crazy Halfling.
Our very own EverQuest 2 community team have updated the Heritage Quests compendium. They claim that they wrote this:

"Heritage quests have the combined benefit of providing some very nice items (which hearken back to EQ live- hence the name) and massive jolts of status points for yourself and possibly your guild. They are very involved, and usually very long. The good news is, they're usually worth it for the items alone and are great team-building activities for your guild."

  • Horizons get some loving.
Horizons has been patched. The complete notes are up on the Official Site. They probably wrote this:

"Experience bonuses or penalties now use the highest rated member of the group instead of each group member's rating (to a maximum of 120). This means, among other things, if the highest rated member of the group gets no experience for a monster, nobody in the group will. Modified: Method that monsters choose a preferred target."

  • Enemy Mastery gets a second look.
Sony Online Entertainment has posted Part II of their EverQuest 2 Enemy Mastery Quests article. We're pretty sure that they wrote this:

"Lore and Legend quests, also known as Enemy Mastery quests, involve the study of various creatures to learn more about them. In order to gain knowledge about these creatures, you must find and study various body parts. You can find suitable body parts for your studies by killing the type of creature you wish to learn more about. Find out more about these types of quests."

  • EverQuest 2 Shamans Rejoice.
Our very own EverQuest 2 community managers have been crawling on their hands and knees in wolf form to bring you an update to the Warden guide. It's entirely possible that they wrote this:

"The Warden's Glen class guide has been updated to include important quest information for Wardens, including class and subclass quests and armor quests. Thanks to Alfreya of Butcherblock for armor quest information! "

  • Sell 'em if you got 'em.
Sony Online Entertainment has opened the pre-launch phase sign-up to their Station Exchange program. They might even have written this:

"Be one of the first to participate in Station Exchange, the official secure marketplace for EverQuest II players to buy and sell the rights to use in game coin, items and characters. Sony Online Entertainment is offering a pre-launch program* for EQII players who are interested in learning more about Station Exchange and enjoying this service early. • Tower shields and full face helms.
Our community managers at the EverQuest 2 site have updated the Guardian Class Guide with spell/skill comparisons! We're going out on a limb and pretending that they wrote this:

" Thanks to Alaric of Oggok, The Guardian's Shield now has a side-by-side combat ability comparison in Chapter 2: Abilities List. Now you can make an informed decision on which ability upgrades are worth your hard-earned gold, and which ones, well, are less so! "
