  • Keeping the Everquest series alive and kicking...

While much of the attention normally generated by SOE's FanFaire was drowned out by the enormously loud BlizzCon, SOE certainly has been sitting on its laurels. Gamasutra has fielded an interview with SOE's head of their San Diego studio, Nicholas Beliaeff, and they discuss everything from FreeRealms to the future of the EQ series.

If Las Vegas is known for one thing besides gambling, it's marriages and Fan Faire was no different this year. Two players stood among the banquet crowd Saturday night to take their vows before proceeding to an in game ceremony. RadarX had a chance to meet with the happy couple before the wedding and ask about how this epic wedding came about.

  • Chuck....CHUCK NORRIS!?!?

Perhaps the most memorable event at BlizzCON 2007, the Sound-Alike, Dance, and Costume contests brought hundreds of Blizzard fans together to see who could perform the most convincing representation of the characters, audio snippets, and dance animations found in Blizzard games. Emceed by the sharp-witted host of NBC's "Last Comic Standing", Jay Mohr, the pageantry even featured a visit by the real life persona of Leeroy Jenkins, Ben Schulz, and... Chuck Norris?
