  • It's a battle and we've got a plan. Let's call it a Battle Plan.
Shane Dabiri, the lead producer of World of Warcraft has posted a Battle Plan. We crawled through the trenches on our bellies to discover that he maybe, just maybe wrote this:

"It has been over six months since World of Warcraft launched in North America, and we have seen much growth during that time. Just prior to launching in China last week, World of Warcraft had achieved a subscriber base of more than 2 million players worldwide. Thousands of new players around the world are joining the adventures in Azeroth each day, and the early signs from China are showing that World of Warcraft is proving to be very popular with players there as well."

  • I'm a bad guy AND I wear tights.
GamerGod has a short preview of City of Villains posted. We dodged laser beams and evil maniacs to find out that they possibly wrote this:

"True believers all across the servers of City of Heroes need to make sure they are ready. The sequel to the critically acclaimed MMORPG City of Heroes, entitled City of Villains. Offering a wide variety of customization options, new powers and abilities, City of Villains allows players to get in touch with their dark side, and start working their way towards infamy. Just an FYI, the game does not include package monologue's to use when you have the hero captured and feel the need to reveal your whole plan thus give said hero time to escape. What it DOES include is awesome villain bases with your own nefarious weapon defense systems, new types of missions, and best of all: PVP!"

  • Cars and Cannons. What could go wrong?
Our Auto Assault Roadhouse coverage Part #1 is posted! Patrick Swayze eat your heart out. Highly placed individuals atop flag poles don't think for a minute this wasn't written:

"The good folks at NCSoft and NetDevil were kind enough to include me as part of their first "Roadhouse Session". We all acted like Patrick Swayze, starting bar fights, dancing rather dirtily and riding mechanical bulls. When the hard work was done, we really got down to business. The business of Auto Assault. The business of Characters: Creation, Stats and Levelling up."

At long last, players will finally have the opportunity to get down with their bad selves."

  • Turbine Nation gets a change of venue.
Turbine Nation 2005 has been cancelled. Instead, the folks at Turbine will be attending PAX. It's nearly certain that they wrote this:

" In order to maximize our marketing and community efforts we have decided to reschedule and refocus our plans for Turbine Nation 2005. Events like Turbine Nation are best utilized as a way of facilitating communication between our live development teams and our subscribers in a more personal setting then message boards or e-mail. So this year we are separating the focus between games in development and games that are live."
