  • City sacking? Freaking awesome!

For the Warhammer Online crew, the Leipzig Games Convention was a huge success. With a constantly filled booth, the announcement of the last two races in the game, and a Best of Show award from Ten Ton Hammer, how could the team not be overjoyed with their accomplishments? To follow-up with the WAR crew, Cody "Micajah" Bye sat down with Mark Jacobs, the general manager of EA Mythic, at the Austin Game Developers Conference, and asked Mark about the future of Warhammer Online and what was next for the team after Leipzig.

  • These elves are smokin' hot!

The Witch Elves have been one of the more talked about classes that were revealed at Leipzig for Warhammer Online: The Age of Reckoning. Brutal, lovely, and straight off of every heavy metal album of the 80's, the Brides of Khaine are sure to be a popular class. Find out why as Paul Barnett delivers some of his rockin' insight into this all female ensemble.

Check it out at Ten Ton Hammer's WAR site.

  • The tome is there. The knowledge depends on if you actually read it. Hey, like school!

While nosing around the Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning booth at PAX 2007, Ten Ton Hammer found EA Mythic game designer Carrie Gouskos and convinced her to come spend a bit of time chatting with us about the primary feature she's working on for Warhammer-- the Tome of Knowledge! You might be asking, "What is the Tome of Knowledge?" Well, if you keep reading, Carrie would love to tell you!

  • The answer: Every time you get too far into the negative in a zero-sum system.

This week's World of Warcraft editorial is about a topic that many players either struggle with at some emotional level or take far too casually-- guild switching. While not getting too teary over the changing of guilds, it is something that one should take very seriously and not enter into lightly.

Behavioral / Political Differences – This is a big one for me, I have
joined a few guilds with characters only to find out that guild chat is

  • I think someone needs to look up the meaning of inevitable. That's kind of a lame name.

The final Warhammer Online Chaos stronghold has been revealed! The Inevitable City is the capital of Chaos forces in WAR. Contained in this city are the full horrors of the servants of Tzeentch and other forces of Chaos.

Located deep within the icy Chaos Wastes of the north, the Inevitable City is a beacon and gathering point for the mortal forces of Chaos.

  • Growing pains from the transition?

Transitioning a product from tabletop gaming to video gaming can be a dangerous prospect. Just ask the numerous failed attempts to make successful D&D games in the early 90s and late 80s. Still, there are games that are interpreted into the video gaming world and succeed marvelously. At Leipzig GC '07, Ten Ton Hammer sent Cody "Micajah" Bye to talk Warhammer Online with Games Workshop's Jon Gillard. They discussed the relationship between the two companies and whether we might see WAR specific products coming from Games Workshop. Enjoy!
