  • All patched up.
The Camelot Herald has the details of the latest Dark Age of Camelot patch. Our calls to Buckingham Palace to confirm that Prince Charles wiggled his

ears and raised his eyebrows almost imperceptibly upon hearing the
    following were
    left unreturned:

"As our players know, the community in any online game is of paramount importance to enjoyable gameplay. The backbone of that community is contained in the player guilds and alliances in the game. As such, after discussions with our community, we have focused this patch on improvements and revisions to our player guild system. We also know that artifact durability and the availablity of single line respecs are a concern for our players. We have listened to your feedback on these issues and present new systems in these areas in this patch."

  • It's a battle and we've got a plan. Let's call it a Battle Plan.
Shane Dabiri, the lead producer of World of Warcraft has posted a Battle Plan. We crawled through the trenches on our bellies to discover that he maybe, just maybe wrote this:

"It has been over six months since World of Warcraft launched in North America, and we have seen much growth during that time. Just prior to launching in China last week, World of Warcraft had achieved a subscriber base of more than 2 million players worldwide. Thousands of new players around the world are joining the adventures in Azeroth each day, and the early signs from China are showing that World of Warcraft is proving to be very popular with players there as well."

  • Shadowfang Keep Unplugged.
Our very own World of Warcraft team has produced a guide to Shadowfang Keep. They mentioned that they wrote this:

"Being a low level and small instance tactics are fairly easy to master in Shadowfang Keep.

At the beginning of the instance, go in to the room on the right of the entrance as there is no way to raise the gates, don’t bother trying. The monsters here are a low level and should be fairly easy to pull and kill. Continue up the stairs and down the passage to a locked door. If there’s a rogue in your party he can pick it, if not you’ll have to let out the prisoners that are down the stars to the left of the room you are in. Not sure why they are locked up if the have keys, but there you go. To release the prisoners pull the levers by their cell. Through the door is the courtyard."

  • WoW, another title for XBox 360?
Blizzard has been in contact with Microsoft to talk about putting World of Warcraft on XBox 360. 1UP has the scoop. We're nearly positive that they wrote this:

""We've been in contact with Microsoft...," said Paul Sams, vice president of business operations at Blizzard. "World of Warcraft was really built with a focus on PC, and while I think it certainly could get to Xbox, it's not something that at this moment we've decided to do.""

  • Battlegrounds arrives, and with it much venting in general chat.
Blizzard has released Battlegrounds for World of Worldcraft along with a large patch. It's likely they wrote this:
