  • Russell Williams Chats About Pirates of the Burning Sea

The Game Musketeers has posted an interview that they were able to do recently with Russell Williams.

How are players enjoying the exploration aspects of PotBS?

Our beta testers have really enjoyed exploring the Pirates of the Burning Sea world. Our beta testers share regular screenshots from their favorite moments in game -- shots so amazing that we've actually begun to share them on our site. I've included two of those screenshots with this Q&A. You are welcome to check out the previous submissions by visiting the official Pirates of the Burning Sea screenshot gallery, located here.

  • Hit or Miss?

GamerZines has posted their preview of the Burning Crusades. You'll want to see what they have to say about the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion.

World of Warcraft is quite popular, apparently. So the developers have this expansion pack that a few people will probably be interested in.

OK, we can't type any more with a straight face. The Burning Crusade is of course the most hotly anticipated expansion to the unbelievably huge World of Warcraft. Raising the level cap to 70, introducing new races, new quests, new areas and so much more, The Burning Crusade is so close and yet so achingly far away still.

  • Burning Crusade Uncovered

IGN has posted a preview of Wow's upcoming expansion, Burning Crusades.

With the level cap being raised from 60 to 70, you can forget you have to eat actual food all over again. With the grind to 70 likely to take at least a couple weeks for even the most hardcore players, it's quite exceptional that Blizzard has managed to keep it feeling fresh. This is in no small part thanks to many creative new talents, special abilities and spells that you gain as you progress.

  • Jess Lebow, Lead Writer and Content Designer for Pirates of the Burning Sea answers some questions

Coldfront has posted an interview with Jess Lebow. Find out what they were able to learn about the upcoming Pirates of the Burning Sea.

CF: What do you like best about working on Pirates of the Burning Sea?

Jess: The team, the whole team. It's not just that there's a lot of talent here. There is, but what truly makes this an exceptional group is their willingness to collaborate. We walk into a meeting, each of us with our own ideas, and we start talking, and pretty soon those individual thoughts have morphed into one giant new idea that is far better than each of the individual parts. No one owns that idea, we just all contributed to its creation. It's this willingness to listen to others and include different ideas in the mix that assures me PotBS is going to be a success.

  • Exclusive Interview with Magnus Bergsson

Ten Ton Hammer gets some time with Magnus Bergsson, CCP's Chief Marketing Officer, to answer burning questions about the new Kali expansion to the game client, the merits of Cake versus Pie, and their successful entry into the Chinese market.

"One of the key things besides the full localization was to create Asian looking characters and to improve a bit on their looks. Besides that we have not done anything else as we want to maintain a one set of code for the game to lessen the chance of any technical problems."

  • Hands On Impressions of Burning Crusade

Pro-G has posted their hands on impressions of the Burning Crusades. Keep reading to see what they think of the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft.

The Burning Crusade presents an interesting conundrum for World of Warcraft players: drop your existing high level character for the allure of starting one of two new races, or keep on with your uber-equipped killing machine and brave the shattered realm of Outland.

So far, most beta players have opted for the high level rewards of Outland over starting a new character. But this isn't to the detriment of TBC's two new races, the manga-esque Blood Elves and the big blue aliens the Draenei - both have aspects that have drawn concern from the typically vocal WoW fan base, but overall are shaping up nicely.

  • FiringSquad Previews The Burning Crusade has posted a preview of the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, The Burning Crusade.

The Blood Elves are the new Horde race, Blizzard’s answer to the calls for attractive models and Paladins for the Horde. Continuing the story from WarCraft III, the Blood Elves have split from the Alliance by making common cause with Illidan. Their lands and Silvermoon, their city, lay in ruins. The passage of the Scourge has quite literally left a mark on what were once the beautiful lands of the elves.

  • Path to Kali and More has had another chance to sit and chat with Magnus Bergsson. This time they chat about the upcoming changes, the Path to Kali and more. Don't miss the new screenshots! Speaking of factional warfare, What effect do you see it having on the day to day life of those not directly involved? To what extent will the borders fluctuate?

Magnus Bergsson: That's all to early to determine, we need considerable play testing until we finally decide to what extent the soldiers fighting for their empires will have. On the other hand it should also be considered that we want Factional Warfare to be an entry into PvP combat hopefully sparking interaction which leads to these warriors to crate their own Alliances.
