    At dusk, a pirate tours an island town and looks out to sea as he inspects his docks and cannon. Every Friday we bring you two new images of Pirates of the Burning Sea.

    New Screenshots Make Even the Gloomiest Day Brighter!

    Argh Maties! (shhh! I'm new here, I get to Argh at you a few times before you can yell at me!) Thar be some pertty screenshots to take a gander at today...so what are ye waiting fer?

    BSharp has added some new images to the Pirates of the Burning Sea screenshot gallery, two that show off the 104 gun sailing at sunset, and two more screenshots that capture a lightning strike during an evening rainstorm in Pirate Town.

    New Mission Screenshots: Defend the Town!
    BSharp has just updated the PotBS Gallery with images taken from a mission titled "Defend the Town", that spans both land and sea. In this mission, you are called to engage the Brits and repel their hostile attack on a pirate town.

    The sea, the sea, the sea is on FIRE!!!
    Stratics has posted some new Pirates of the Burning Sea screenshots. Johnny Depp thumbed his nose at us, giggled, spun around seven times and then announced:

    " A new massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) of adventure on the high seas. Build your character with a host of skills. Play as a Pirate, Naval Officer, or Adventurer. Customize your ship's performance and appearance. Fight other captains in real-time tactical ship combat. Conquer the enemy's ports for your side. Amass a fortune through commerce or conquest. Create and schedule your own PvP events. Compete for server-wide victory. Enter an historical world of epic combat! "

  • PotBS Environment Screenshots Released!

    Arggh matey, thar blows an admiralty office!

    Flying Lab Software's winter release development team posted some visually impressive shots of pirates, French & British administrative offices, and a few combat shots of a two-decker in action. This long-time Patrick O'Brien fan is drooling!

    Here are a few of the areas we've been working on this milestone. Exteriors include the French and British towns with one shot of British town at night. Interiors include the admiralty office, company office, magistrate's office (look closely and you'll see our particle dust in the light rays), and the rich salon. There's a shot of the new cannon particle smoke and some cannonballs in mid-air.
