  • Roman all over the web.
RPGVault has posted a preview of Perpetual Entertainment's upcoming title, Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising. It's possible that they wrote this:

"Another of the key points discussed reinforced and expanded on what was known from before. The gameplay will have a significant quest component. The team has promised quite a number at launch, with a large portion of the action taking place within instanced locations. Some of the tasks will be class-based, while others will be linked to Gods and Heroes pantheon of deities and the powers they can confer to their respective adherents. Since this would appear to be an aspect the team is focused on, one can probably expect to see a lot more about it over the coming months."

  • Another Guild Wars review spills onto the Interweb.
Business Week Online has posted a review of Guild Wars. We're almost positive that they might have written this:

"It's definitely not your typical online role-playing game. Best of all: You only have to pay for "Guild Wars" ($50, T-rated) once. There are no extra fees, unlike most similar games, which charge about $15 per month to keep playing."

  • Why did pirates use a plank? Why not just push the guy off the side?
Game Daily has posted an interview with Akella, the developers of Age of Pirates. We're pretty sure that they wrote this:

"...until E3 2005, when Akella, developer of the Sea Dogs game(s), announced Age of Pirates, essentially the next swashbuckling RPG in the Sea Dogs line. We had a chance to sit down with Renat Nezametdinov, project manager for Age of Pirates, to hear more about what gamers can expect from Age of Pirates, as well as what the team learned from its previous two outings about the pirate lifestyle and the power of its Storm graphics engine."

  • Go Turbine. Go Turbine.
The Boston Globe has a story posted about Turbine and their push to get Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach completed for the holiday season this year. We're nearly confident that they wrote this:

"Now comes phase two. Over the next two years, the company will introduce new games based on two of the most beloved fantasy franchises. In 2006, Turbine will release the first massive online game based on J.R.R. Tolkien's ''Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Turbine will publish the Tolkien game on its own, rather than pay a share of the profits to a major game publisher. The company is taking a more cautious approach with Dungeons & Dragons Online, teaming up with the French game publisher Atari Inc."

These are all the maps I have been able to locate on the web. Take a look and get a feel for the world of Eberron. These maps should be useful for all the PnP players out there also. "
