  • Saga of Ryzom looks to the fans.
David Cohen Corval, the creative director of Saga of Ryzom has posted a letter to fans on the official site. He probably wrote this:

"As we are in the process of improving the game, we are putting a lot of effort to the events. Until now, events were punctual, with little or no story / world implications. They were small introduction events. Now, we are working on a new generation of events dedicated to the story development."

  • Fan Fiction.
The latest fan fiction has been posted on the official Asheron's Call 2 site. They might have even written this:

"I have been hunting the vermin outside Arwic for a few days now. I found shelter in an abandoned shack on the outskirts of town, as the townfolk seem to be reluctant to befriend a drudge. Even the drudges to the mine in the north speak not to me."

  • Lost? Art?
Gamepro has posted an Op/Ed on "The Lost Art of Class Balancing". It's possible that they even wrote this:

"On the other side of the fence, Warlocks keel over and die as Undead
players turn on Way of the Forsaken, making the race immune to the
class's primary form of attack for the next 20 seconds (no sound effect
telling the world, too). Teen libido magnet Succubus stands idly by as
Rogues mash the squishy spellcasting class into oblivion."

  • Will the SUN rise?
RPGVault has interview with Webzen posted covering their upcoming title, SUN. They might have written this:

"SUN, which is an acronym for Soul of the Ultimate Nation, is the closest to release of three massively multiplayer projects Webzen has announced it will launch in North America and Europe. During the past several months, we've seen and heard quite a bit about the company. This may have come as something of a surprise to many online gamers living in the West. However, the Korean-based developer and publisher is a major player in the global market due to the level of success it has achieved in various parts of the Far East, primarily its home country and China. Last month, the title made a very auspicious debut at the E3 trade show. What we observed and heard at that event made us even keener to learn more about many aspects in this session with its Producer, In-Kyun Hong."

  • Big Black Crows with pointy teeth.
Turbine has posted more creature information for Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. The creature of choice today is the Crebain. There is a fair to slim chance that they wrote this:

"These menacing black birds from the lands between the Misty Mountains and the dark forest of Fangorn are often controlled by the forces of darkness, acting from above as the eyes and ears of the enemy.  Large and intelligent, flocks of these crow-like creatures darken the skies on their mission of evil.  But be warned – even one Craban is capable of alerting the enemy with the swiftness of the wind.
